★★★★★“I thought the car would have to be painted after the entire side of the car was scratched by bushes (Nantucket pinstripes). Can't believe the result. Absolutely amazing.”
William VanArsdale
Read on Google → Nantucket pinstripes are the fine scratches island brush drags down your paint on every narrow road. Most come out under a machine polish — no repaint needed. And if a scratch is past what polishing can fix, we'll say so before you spend a dollar.
Correct first, then coat
A ceramic coating seals in whatever is underneath it. Our Daily Driver and Dream Car packages include a paint enhancement to bring the gloss up first — but that polish doesn't remove swirls or scratches. If the finish needs real correction, it belongs before the coating, not after.
The honest part
What paint correction can't do
The machine only ever takes paint off — it never puts paint back on. That one fact decides everything below, so here it is up front.
Can you add paint or clear coat back?
No. Correction works by removing clear coat until the surface around a defect is flat — that's the whole trick. It also means the paint has to have enough left to give. If your clear coat is too thin, we'll measure, tell you, and decline the job rather than burn through it. There's no undo on that.
Will it remove deep scratches?
Only scratches that live within the clear coat — that top layer is all we have to work with. Quick home test: drag a fingernail across the scratch. If it glides over, polishing can probably handle it. If it catches, the scratch has likely gone through, and that's touch-up or body shop territory. Send us a photo and we'll tell you which it is before you book anything.
Does it fix dents and dings?
No — correction works on the paint's surface, not the metal under it. A dent with unbroken paint is a job for paintless dent repair, and we're happy to point you to it.
Can etching from water spots, bird droppings, or sap come out?
Usually it improves dramatically — but not always completely. Those three are acidic, and when they sit in the sun they etch down into the clear coat. Extreme etching is permanent. We'll tell you what will move and what won't while we're looking at the paint, not after.
My body shop repaint doesn't match. Can polishing fix it?
Not the color — that lives in the paint itself, and it's a refinish conversation with the body shop. What we can fix is texture: wet sanding levels the orange peel a repaint often leaves, so the panel matches the factory finish to the eye and the hand. Same texture, same gloss — the color stays whatever the shop sprayed.
How long do the results last?
The defects we remove are gone for good — but here, narrow roads and bushes scratch paint back up quickly. Automatic car washes and dry-wiping dusty paint are the other two swirl factories. Hand washing keeps corrected paint looking corrected, and a ceramic coating on top makes it easier still.
Not sure what level your paint needs?
Send a couple of photos and we'll tell you honestly what it needs — and what it doesn't.
